Fragrance Review
Houbigant is a French perfume house established in 1775 by Jean-Francois Houbigant (1752-1807). Houbigant stays true to finery in perfumes that made them a household name many years ago.
This month, Houbigant elegantly releases a NEW fragrance titled, ORANGERS EN FLEURS Eau de Parfum for women.
ORANGERS EN FLEURS celebrates the aroma of orange blossoms that symbolizes fertility, abundance and love.
Once I heard the title, I knew I had to learn more about this fragrance that lathers with one of my favorite desired scents in a perfume.
Houbigant is known for re-creating or re-formulating an established fragrance with a totally different scent that gives homage to the original.
ORANGERS EN FLEURS is a modern version of QUELQUES FLEURS fragrance. Quelques Fleurs was originally launched in 1912 by perfumer, Robert Bienaime' and then re-launched in 1980.
Jacques Flori, senior perfumer at Robertet created the impressive orange blossom scent of ORANGERS EN FLEURS that surpasses this as not being only a one seasonal fragrance.
It is a thirst quencher in many elegant ways that can be worn day and night for all refined occasions.
This engaging scent is based not just of flirty scents not intended to last long but with notes that are proven to be long-lasting and with a remarkable appeal.
Top Notes: orange blossom, Turkish rose absolute, Egyptian jasmine absolute,
Heart Notes: tuberose, petigrain, orange leaf absolute, ylang-ylang from Comores, nutmeg
Base Notes: cedarwood, musk
The incredibly beautiful crystal bottle that it comes in is a fest in itself that dates back to creations from the 20th century. So for style to be updated with a modern twist in a fragrance and a classical crystal bottle beholding a refined fragrance is priceless.
