FRAGRANCE REVIEW
FRAGRANCE MEETS FASHION
Mousseline Peche Eau de Toilette
A Collaboration of Artists
I may not have mentioned this lately but when I purchase a sample or bottle of perfume or receive it in the mail. I do not immediately wear it. I love to savor and relish in the complete package in which it was given to me.
For me it is not just the scent but the entire presentation it arrives in. I love fragrances that tell a story. What is the perfumer telling me...why was it created and what is the ending of the story-from beginning to the end.
There maybe days or weeks that I try on a fragrance and walk in it, run win it, sit quietly in it or go shopping in it. How did it smell on me, how did it feel on my skin. Well this is where this review begins.
I received a sample of Mousseline Peche Eau de Toilette in the mail sometime ago. I usually received samples from Charna Ethier. However, this time it was different.
Charna was not just sending me a sample to review but she was sending me a chain of events so to speak.
Moussseline Peche Eau de Toilette, is this summer's blockbuster of scents comes with another person attached to it.
Mr. Jonathan Joseph Peters, a fashion designer and guest of the ever popular, Project Runway, one of my favorite television shows collaborated with a great perfume artist of this century to show us that he is not afraid of a natural fragrance and how her creations of scents speaks to us.
I learned that Jonathan and Charna knew each other for many years and there was definitely a connection years ago that led to a fragrance collaboration that really spoke to me.
Now, how I felt about it. The scent of peach I undestand is an obsession for Charna, so for me whatever Charna says is best...I follow. I sat on my sofa in the living room and sprayed Mousseline Peche on my left hand. I took in this sweet harmony of peach but when I rubbed my hand across the scent, my skin automatically became smoother.
You would think I was talking about a hand lotion. I don't know how Charna does it but it created a fragrance that made my skin softer and the texture took on another layer as if I had skin of a new born.
This to me is speechless. I repeated this method again and the results were exactly the same. No, this was not a game of chance. It is exactly as Charna created, the
"softest, sheerest peach mousseline de soie."
Mousseline Peche Eau de Toilette is a LIMITED EDITION fragrance but to me it is a scent for ALL SEASONS.
The remarkable undertones of harmonious symphonic pleasures gave me an immediate look into what it would have been to be at Ravinia Park of concerts in Chicago's upscale northshore community.
A breathtaking aroma that is mild, charismatic and I truly almost forgot that is a "fashion" fragrance.
This scent made me curious to see who really is Jonathan Joseph Peters. I went to www.jonathanjosephpeters.com and within the first few minutes of reading, I knew the kind of person Mr. Peters truly is.
He said thank you, "thank you, thank you" three times to insure that he greatly appreciates you taking time out visiting his website. He has ties to Providence, Rhode Island and thanked friends and family because without them, he would not be where he is today.
Jonathan remembered Charna during his successful years as a designer and recognized not only friendship is the key but her phenomenal talent as a perfumer would bring him evermore success.
I totally agree with Jonathan's decision to collaborate with Charna. They are truly a winning team not just for their sakes but for all of us to enjoy and bask in the glory of a beautiful fragrance that comes from the heart.
