Aqua Fiorentina
This exquisite scent is an inspiration from the 15th century of Florence, Italy. Where artists such as da Vinci and Michelangelo sparked an international interest that is legendary and timeless.
Aqua Fiorentina is a quiet and soft scent that melts and blends into the skin immediately with sweet top notes of greengage plum and bergamont orange. I loved the clear and concise flavors that gives a clean and refreshing flavor that is elegant elegant for day time to late afternoon. I wear it first thing in the morning and I can still smell it around 2pm as if I just put it on.
The middle notes of Renaissance roses, pink carnations and Calabrian lemon gives it strength for endurance and it will blend with the office atmosphere and the late afternoon board meeting with the President and CEO. Aqua Fiorentina stands out in the crowd with base notes to give it that added protection with Virgina cedar and Indian sandalwood, if you have to stay at the office for a few more hours than you anticipated.
Aqua Fiorentina 2.5 oz/75 ml spray for $230.00 tax excluded.
Windsor
For the first time ever, CREED offers Windsor that was first created in 1936 for King Edward VIII of England. The inspiration was to provide an exclusive fragrance to the public to be dedicated to King Edward who was the first air pilot to be king and createa scent with ingredients grown in the British Empire.
It comes in a beautiful shatterproof leather wrapped bottle and the scent is made with top of the line, British gin, Jamaican lime and some Scottish highland pine that is fit for the king and the king in your life. I simply love the rich and hardy scent that is not overpowering but majestic and refined. Only the House of CREED would capture and behold the "Duke of Windsor" roses for the middle note. These are roses that he preferred in his own garden. The base notes capture a well learned and traveled man with Bahamian orange, Canadian cedar and a touch of Australian eucalyptus. This fragrances absolutely captivated me and it put my thoughts right in the center of Windsor castle, surrounded by all the beauty and quality that only the atmosphere of a king can provide.
Windsor 1.7 oz/50 ml atomizer $405.00 tax excluded
Sublime Vanille
This is the first fragrance that is in the new CREED collection, called 'Royal Exclusives'. I was delighted to hear this because vanilla is my favorite scent and I cannot have too many vanilla perfumes on my dresser. I love the buttery scent that consist of top notes of vanilla from Tahiti and heady bourbon vanilla from South America.
I love vanilla scents to be consumed in all aspects of vanilla and that is exactly what Sublime Vanille represents. You get more of it with tonka beans in the middle note and just a touch of bergamot orange and a touch of Calabrian lemon and a rare musk just to enhance the flavor. This is truly in my estimation the highlight of scents for the House of Creed in 2009. Vanilla is a universal scent that can be worn summer and winter, so go ahead and spare those dollars because Sublime Vanille is totally worth it.
Sublime Vanille $450.00 tax excluded
Les Floralies
This scent is definitely a treat for the senses. It comes from an inspiration in Japan where there is a tea house on the grounds of the Imperial Palace. This is a limited edition, so don't wait until Les Floralies is sold out!
This scent according to CREED and I totally agree, " evokes calming air and tranquil spirit of the royal, ancient tea ceremony". Sixth generation master perfumer, Oliver Creed and his son enjoyed a cup of Japanese tea while they were in Tokyo. So we get to experience this creation first hand with all the thoughts and emotions that Mr. Creed and his son loved and remembered about Japan.
Chrysanthemum(Japan's royal symbol) and a mixture of leaves of the asian star, Magnolia is the essence of the top notes. It is sweeten with jasmine, Japanese tea and Asian lilac for the sweet tooth in all of us and last but never least, the Bulgarian rose and plum blossom to take the joys of Japan with us where ever we go.
I was just totally happy with this creation and how Mr. Creed and his son put those beautiful thoughts and that delicious cup of Japanese tea in a form of a fragrance is simply pure artwork of geniuses. Take it from me, this is truly an icon and a table conversation for many years to come.
Les Floralies 1.7 oz/50 ml atomizer $300.00 tax excluded.
