A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a well beloved comedy written by William Shakespeare. It features a cast of characters with complicated situations all surrounding the subject of love.
During my sniff testing, I was very impressed with the character based fragrance, Fare Thee Well, Nymph. A fragrance composed with Helena in mind by Lisa Abdul-Quddus, perfumer and owner of Blossoming Tree Bodycare.
Fare Thee Well, Nymph is composed bringing out the brighter and darker side of love with Helena's infatuation with Demetrius and then how she quickly turned against him due to a little magic from a mischievous fairy.
Fare Thee Well, Nymph opens with soft tones and simplicity and with the quickness, a whiff of noted woody undertones simmers through validating Helena emotion transformation.
While Helena and Demetrius were in the woods one bright day, a spell came over Demetrius by a very cunning fairy named Puck. Puck who does not care how his spells affect people goes loosely into the woods using a magical flower and casting spells on the wrong people.

Fare Thee Well, Nymph leaves the wafting scents of vetiver and Clementine that enhance the moment for the evening event of Queen of Night. This amazing flower must have been used by Puck because it blooms only once a year and only at night.
Queen of Night gives a warm and sweet floral aroma that comes from its white and waxy petals.
Demetrius was hit with this spellbinding flower that turned his dislike for Helena into love but due to Puck’s misunderstanding of the situation, it turned Helena against Demetrius.
This is the darker side of love.
In the end, Puck reverses the spells and Demetrius wakes up the next day realizing that he really loves Helena. So, now the smoothness of vanilla becomes the new spell that Ms. Quddus created for Helena’s new outlook on life.
Fare Thee Well, Nymph is composed of some of the finest ingredients and with little help from the fairies; Ms. Quddus affirms her own aspiring spell that captivates the senses with sweetness and fairy-enchanted woody notes that would make Mr. Shakespeare very proud.

Another wonderful perfume, that I am going to have to put on my sniffing list! I haven't had the pleasure of interacting with Night Queen, and it sounds like something great to work with, and that Lisa has evoked the essence of Helena's character!
