I trust a company who has been in business since its establishment in 1854. I trust a company that is family owned and operated and I trust a company that continues to provide high quality service and products that has expanded into the US customers and abroad.
The company I am referring to is TAYLOR OF OLD BOND STREET headquartered in London, England.
I was highly impressed when I went on their website. Each products is thoroughly explained and they actually offer a real catalogue, not a catalogue online. This is such a rarity nowadays when the internet is now used for such a luxury.
I was equally impressed with how swiftly I got the catalog mailed to me. When I opened the delicate white envelope, out falls a beautiful black glossy, I mean really glossy book. I know they said a catalogue but to me, this is a book because they produced such an eloquently written catalogue and created with such time and pride, that I had to find something I wanted to purchase as a gift. In fact, there were several products I wanted to purchase for myself.
My speciality is fragrance but not limited to this category (more about this in another article).
I fell in love with two fragrances that consist of bay rum.
This is really great because I expected to find one fragrance for men with bay rum but to have discovered another one...is the icing on the cake.
TAYLOR OF OLD BOND STREET is such a sophisticated enterprise because the packaging is just as refine as the products itself. Sleek, dark, polished...sultry. These were my first impressions and now to think of the man that would appreciate such a gift from TAYLOR OF OLD BOND STREET. Well, I will leave that up to you to decide but I can suggest two fragrances that should be on anyone's gift giving list for Father's Day or anytime of the year.
First what is exactly bay rum? According to the American Heritage Dictionary it is "an aromatic liquid originally prepared by distilling the leaves of the bay rum tree in a rum and water."Bay rum originates from the West Indies and it is described as a woody, sweet and spicy scent with an island flavor.
TAYLOR OF OLD BOND STREET offers two bay rum fragrances for men and they are Taylor of Old Bond Street Bay Rum and Mr. Sydney.
It not only can be used as a cologne but can be combined with an astringent, too!
The Bay Rum comes in 150ml (small) and 250ml(large) sizes and Mr. Sydney comes in 250ml size only.
