When I was at the first annual ARTISAN FRAGRANCE SALON in July, I was surrounded by fabulous displays, breathtaking scents and eager smiles. None was more welcoming and inviting than Laurie Stern, natural perfumer and owner of VELVET AND SWEET PEA PURRFUMERY.
I told Laurie who I was and she made me feel like I was a huge celebrity. I could not believe the overwhelming response! What I like about Laurie is that she is so real and genuine.
I cannot stress enough how packaging is so important with a product. It presents a gift that has been designed, well-thought out and executed into a magnificent creation.
When I got time to myself I sat down and put on FLEUR de CARAMEL. Even though there were many scents at the salon, FLEUR de CARAMEL whisked me off to another place when I was a young girl. I am crazy about the Tahitian vanilla that gives it that soft and sweet coverage.
FLEUR de CARAMEL is not just to be thought of as a candy scent but it has adult accords of cognac and frangipani. So it is a most definite for evening wear.
I love it on this time of the year. The air is crisp and the hint of caramel warms me up. It is simply a work of art in a fun and adventurous way.
Laurie was so dressed for the occasion in fun and frilly attire that truly represented VELVET AND SWEET PEA PURRFUMERY. It was so great to see the time and dedication Laurie puts into her perfumery. I was overwhelmed and inspired by this.

Laurie's hard work paid off when FLEUR de CARAMEL was judged and awarded with numerous ARTISAN FRAGRACE SALON 2012 awards!
I was one of the judges and it was such a great honor to be apart of an event that showed me more than a scent but what actually goes behind making and marketing a company, product, a dream and what I mostly got from Laurie a fabulous smile.
FLEUR de CARAMEL ingredients...This is an Oriental Vanilla perfume that consists of Tahitian Vanilla, cognac, frangipani, jasmine, tuberose, sandalwood, mandarin orange and lily with infused grape alcohol.
