Fragrance Review-NEW Launch
A la Rose
The Queen of 400 Roses
Parisian Master Perfumer, Monsieur Francis Kurkdjian composed a new a ultra feminine eau de parfum just in time for Valentine's Day!
A la Rose Eau de Parfum Natural Spray contains 400 roses in this woody-floral creation. In every bottle contains 250 Centifolia (May) roses from Grasse and 160 Damacena roses from Bulgaria.
This dreamy scent opens with Calabrian bergamot and Californian ripe orange, pear and lychee with layers of rose garlands, violet and magnolia blossoms. It ends with drips of sweetness with cedarwood and centifolia roses.
So far, in 2015, this has been one of the most engaging and ultra luxurious scents that romances every mood of Valentine's Day.
I love the history of Queen Marie Antoinette and I would have to say if she were still alive, this would be her signature scent. No doubt about it!
Francis Kurkdijian would be her personal perfumer of the twenty first century. No doubt about it!
When I think of A la Rose, "The Rose" I think of a beautifully landscape garden in the south of France laced with pastry colored roses all adorned with the heavenly scent in which it was created to be, 'The Queen Rose'.
Currently, A la Rose Eau de Parfum Natural Spray is launched at Liberty London www.liberty.co.uk and Les Senteurs London www.lessenteurs.com plus Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris (online) www.franciskurkdjian.com.
