HAIL TO THE QUEEN
Queen Victoria was the monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from June 20, 1837 until her death. On May 1, 1876, Queen Victoria was given an additional title of ‘Empress of India’ in 1877 when India was formally incorporated into the British Empire.
Queen Victoria reign for 63 years which is the longer than any other British monarch and the longest of any female in history.
That is why that era is known as the ‘Victorian era’.
Since we are on the subject of a title, Essentially me, the all natural perfumery in the UK was bestowed the title of 2011 FIFI AWARD UK FINALIST in the Best Niche Fragrance category.

EMPRESS OF INDIA, the perfume was created for the recent BBC 2 series “Victorian Pharmacy”. Victorian Pharmacy is about a Victorian Pharmacist and testing out remedies and medicines popular at that time.
This is truly a wonderful series and it was nice to watch it with my husband who has a doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
EMPRESS OF INDIA is described as a tribute to natural aromatic riches of the Orient, fit for a Queen.
All of the ingredients in EMPRESS OF INDIA are of royal heritage and it requires ingenuity to create an all natural perfume in the tradition from the bygone years. Mr. Lawless accomplished the task and that is why it was recognized by the Fragrance Foundation UK.
EMPRESS OF INDIA is a pretty scent that will delight any woman who loves a floral fragrance. It is soft and has a light amber color that looks gorgeous beaming through the decanter.
Queen Victoria would have approved of this fragrance. She commissioned many perfumes but one thing they all had in common and that was a floral scent.
I wore EMPRESS OF INDIA for several days and it stayed on for a least 6 hours. Each day I would put it on, it seemed that the fragrance got stronger, not in a patchouli type way but the ingredients especially the bergamot and African orange flower seemed to fuse into one. I liked that ambiance and it stayed with me for several days.
EMPRESS OF INDIA comes in Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette strengths in a 56ml bottle.
It features TOP NOTES: coriander, green bergamot, mandarin orange and neroli
MIDDLE NOTES: jasmine, African orange flower, tuberose and rose
BASE NOTES: musk, opoponax, incense, tonka bean and vanille
Truly, EMPRESS OF INDIA is a winner it’s a regal fragrance with an edgy appeal that pleases a crowd of adoring fans!
