The fragrance that celebrates the Queens of England
ESXENCE- ‘The Scent of Excellence’ is an exhibition that takes place each year in Milan and showcases some of the world’s finest niche perfumes.This year was no exception with breaking news of new fragrance launches that would be shown at ESXENCE, but the knowledge of new fragrance launches could not steal the show to the upcoming ROYAL wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton.

There was much speculation as to who would design Kate’s dress and then on April 29th that was revealed. But before their royal wedding there was a royal engagement that took place in 1893.
It was the engagement of Princess May and Prince George, Duke of York who had an arranged marriage but despite that, May and George was deeply in loved and eventually married.
During that time, there was a talented young man who was known for making beautiful fragrances with the use of natural ingredients from Grasse. John Grossmith established the house of Grossmith London in 1853. It was established in time for him to create a fragrance for the nuptials of Princess May and George, the Duke of York.
