PINK HAZE EAU DE PARFUM
Nature in the New York
When I moved to this community, that was the first house I noticed and when I moved in, I introduced myself to the family and told them that I am a fragrance editor. They immediately told me how they decided to import a cherry blossom tree and why.
This wonderful family gave me an open invitation to pick blossoms from the tree anytime I wanted.
The scent of cherry blossom is one of the sweetest and most fruitful plant I have ever sniffed. It brings life to the soul and for me it enhances my senses after a few minutes of smelling it.
I would recommend everyone to have a cherry blossom tree, especially in a metropolitan city like Chicago.
Recently, I was given a sample of PINK HAZE EAU DE PARFUM by Maria McElroy, one of the perfumers and co-founder of House of Cherry Bomb.
Maria's partner and co-founder/perfumer, Alexis Karl created Pink Haze for the PLP Perfume Project in 2014.
Brooklyn, New York |
Pink Haze is a floral fragrance for women and men that is a Brooklyn (New York) inspired parfum. McElroy and Karl who are independent-perfumers located in Brooklyn composed Pink Haze with the dedication and love for their beloved city and the elements that surrounds one of the largest most populated cities in the United States.
Pink Haze is heady and gives a powerful aroma much like the gardenia. Its aroma is maintained by not overpowering with its powder-like sillage that lasted well over seven hours.
It is grounded and earthy just like what Brooklyn represents with its lined streets of store buildings and subways of trains that go to every part of the city and beyond.
I truly was captured by the scent and the theme of Pink Haze. It reminded me of Chicago and its overly ornate buildings that have stood the test of time and beauty in the spring and summer with colorful flowers and glossy green-leaf plants all down North Michigan Avenue.
Truly Pink Haze represents a beautiful atmospher of the cherry blossom. If you are not lucky enough to move into a community with a neighbor who has a cherry blossom tree in front of their house or you are not in Japan or Washington, DC, then I would recommend Pink Haze Eau de Parfum.
It gives new meaning to leaving in the city. It gives beauty, warmth and a vibrate attribute to nature.
