Vogue is the most important magazine to the world of fashion and beauty. It is the staple in an industry that features the most beauty and compelling designers today and yesteryear.
I enjoy glancing the glossy pages of artistic expression from designers I love and those who are new to the industry.
I cannot even imagine how the Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour does it! But each and every edition is a huge success.
This brings me to iconic and most the most memorable Editor in Chief for Vogue magazine and that is the late great Diana Vreeland. I cannot say that I remember glancing through the pages of Vogue during her tenure in the 1960's but I have read many articles and viewed magazine editions of that time online.
I read that she truly used her "freedom of speech" but it came from the heart and she was never in it to be rude or discourteous. What better way to honor and give tribute to an amazing writer, stylist and creator of the most sought after magazine in the world.
I read that Ms. Vreeland loved fragrances and would refresh herself with a spritz here and there throughout the day. Her pizzazz and vision for fashion and style rings out in every bottle of her namesake.
