The International Perfume Museum
Showcases Fragrances in Decade Glamour
The International Perfume Museum located in Grasse (Paris) is currently hosting an exhibit that started June 29th through September 16, 2012.
This stellar event examines the luxury perfume industry from the years 2000 to 2010.
Only the most outstanding creations have been chosen to be featured by a industry leaders on a committee such as chemists, perfume makers, designers and perfume historians.
The bottles displayed were chosen by the experts that convey the best in glamour, sensuality, bling-bling, urban world, vintage and the alternative perfumery known as 'Niche Perfumes'.
This exposition called, Parfum habille la Mode (Pefume: Influencing Fashion)not only emphasizes glamour but also educates consumers. For example, did you know that between the years 2000 and 2011 around 5,000 perfumes were launched!
I personally thought the number would be higher, but in the Niche Perfume category the number of fragrances launched seems to increase year after year.
The job of reviewing fragrances and writing about it is never a dull job, it keeps me on my toes. So, for the Parfum habille la Mode exhibit, I am proud to announce the Niche Perfume honorees exhibited this year.
