Perfume as a work of Art
Chandler Burr already revealed the first scent of a series entitled, 'The Untitled Series'. Burr, Founder and Curator of the Department of Olfactory Art at the New York Museum of Arts and Design states that "Rethinking Perfume as a Work of Art" is helping shoppers to think about the aroma, the vision without knowing who the designer is, name of the fragrance or where it is made.
In the case of the first fragrance number S01E01, it is up to the consumer to come up with their version of the fragrance. Then, Mr. Burr on the beginning of each month will reveal what that fragrance is.
The Untitled Series S01E01 is...Prada Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum (2008) composed by Daniela Roche-Andrier.
This fragrance series takes place on opensky.com/chandlerburr and with this new approach to re-thinking fragrance it can be a personal matter but we all know that it is something about a fragrance rather it is the top, middle or base notes that makes us swoon with delight.
