     What is carnation essence all about? Carnation absolute is produced only in the south of France. It posses a strong floral spicy scent. Many classical fragrances consist of carnation because of its peppery connotation but today many perfumers are staying away from this essence.
      Carnation essence works so well with the rose scent. So why is it not being used as much? Well it is considered to be old-fashioned and out of touch, so to speak in the ever revolving world of perfumery.
     I personally think it has a lasting effect and its usage is well deserved to stay on the perfume organ because its classic being is the greatest quality of the carnation.
     I am totally behind testing and producing new and innovative fragrances but adding a touch of carnation here and there will always be the best result for an oriental fragrance to give it that spicy edge and feeling of warmth.
