Halloween for me as an adult is not about ghoulish and flesh eating creatures roaming the earth to supply their needs. But instead, I feel there are good spirits amongst us to help and guide us to a better life. Now there are those people who would disagree but this is not a debate but more of a fantasy in this issue of Fragrance Belles-Lettres that inspired me to write this edition.
When I heard about the new fragrance Portrait of a Lady by Les Editions de Parfums, a certain movie came to mind and that is Portrait of Jennie derived by a novel written by Robert Nathan.
I not only compare the similarities between Portrait of a Lady parfum and Portrait of Jennie, the movie and novel but the fragrances that screams romance, compassion and a haunting desire to find love.
It gives me great pleasure to announce an eighteenth century perfumery who is celebrating 280 years in the perfume industry with a new fragrance that commerates this important and exciting moment.
