CONAFFETTO PROFUMI
A FRAGRANCE OF TRUE FRIENDSHIP
Three years ago I was a contributing author for a major online magazine. I was so excited about this opportunity to write and explore the world of niche perfumery.Several months into writing for this online magazine, I received an email from a reader who stated that she liked my articles and expressed an interest in sending samples of her perfume collection for my review. I was really humbled by this notion because it was my job as the writer to hunt down perfumers and ask them for samples to write reviews but this perfumer reached out to me!
That was three years ago and today, Hilde Soliani and I have remained friends from around the world.

I wasn’t surprised to hear that Ms. Soliani had created her twentieth fragrance but this time her inspiration was different. The CONAFFETTO PROFUMI COLLECTION was composed in honor of her best friend, Danielle who is to be married soon. Wow, this is a beautiful way of honoring a best friend, but this is only the beginning. CONAFFETO PROFUMI is made with the same ingredients of a popular Italian candy… orange blossom, almond and sugar that are celebrated at weddings! It comes in a pure parfum oil and now in an eau de parfum. A luxurious and regal collection.
Ms. Soliani blended all the best of ingredients to create a sweet and floral fragrance for women who are not afraid to be loved and not afraid to show love.

Hi Hilde!
Thank you so much for taking the time out to speak with me. It is indeed an honor.
1. Hilde, I believe Conaffetto PROFUMI is your 20th fragrance creation. What is it that keeps you motivated?
Oh my god ! You Are right ,I have never counted before. Anyway next month I will be launching 2 more already ready one very contemporary eau de cologne for men called Classe.
The inspiration is coming from anywere anytime.It happens like a lightening. The motivation is always to let people get the same emotions like me and enjoying life.
Moreover I know that each fragrance I did is a part of my personality, hobbies,passion andd my way of living.
Profumo e gusto in libertà is my love for creative cuisine always a work in progress.
My next line is inspired by my Mystical life .....

2. I read you created CONAFFETTO for the upcoming nuptials of your best friend. Hilde, what is about your friendship with Danielle that inspired you to create CONAFFETTO?
She is very smart and clever lady.Unique with an international mind .The first time I met her was in a nice coffe bar in London and her deep expression impressed me in a positive way. Brilliant blackout make-up eyes ,red dressed.... We have lots in common...the italian roots from her father's side.
3.Conaffetto has such a beautiful meaning and a even more beautiful reason behind the creation. How has Danielle responded to this most thoughtful gift!
She asked me to make one more fragrance following the receipt of her wedding cake....vanilla and rosemary.We did and she will dress it for the wedding day and I did two specials one for her and for others to witness. Moreover I can sell it to everyone ..called Dolceamore sweetlove launching soon.
4. Hilde, you told me that your most loyal customer, Monica came up with the name of CONAFFETTO. How did this happen?
She is a 30 years lady opened her perfumery shop La Crisalide 5 years ago in a small village in north Italy.
We started to help each other and become friends even though we have lots of fights and arguments.
She is very romantic and she loves gourmands fragrances. She was asking me to do something different but sweet and elegant for a very long time.
Conaffetto is the union of two words confetto and affetto. In the Italian language it means with lots of love.
Conaffetto is the bonbon made of almond and sugar which we use to eat at weddings.
Affetto Tender feeling...
She knows the customer needs and who they are and being a happy person, too.
Conaffetto is dedicated to all of them!
5. What does it mean to you being a natural perfumer?
To be as much and similar to nature; and don't destroy what God has given us.
6. CONAFFETTO candy sounds so delicious. How is it served at wedding ceremonies?
First is gifted in a special pack called bomboniera Made mainly of white lace containg five confettis.
Italy is known worldwide for its confetti. I like it it very much. Before creating this fragrance, I bought lots of it in order to find the best one. I had to get the understanding of the real almond taste of Sicily.
Why neroli? Because the orange flower is the typical italian wedding flower.

Next week, Monica and I will launch the eau de parfum and I have to tell you that conaffetto is my second fragrance after il tuo tulipano that I wear all the time. It follows me everywhere. Now I am on the train to Torino to see the first of my best friend's director.
The same person who is doing the music for my videos and preparing the installation for the Russian market.
