It's not an OUTLAW...It is a privilege
There is a saying that goes..."love covers all". I don't know who said this, but it certainly applies to my third review in the Natural Perfumers' Guild-Outlaw Project.
Rose of Cimarron is made with perfume ingredients that is considered to be an outlaw, only with the exception of pink pepper so far. This fragrance is made with a fearless blend of roses that opens with a heart of love but there is a spicy side that runs deep with devotion that lingers on and on. The name Rose of Cimarron was a nickname given to a woman known for her good looks but more noteworthy and importantly her unconditional love a man that was an outlaw. Rose Dunn was her name and as a teenager she ran away with George "Bittercreek" Newcomb during the closing years of the Old West.
Rose of Cimarron Perfume was developed by Elise Pearlstine, owner of Bellyflowers/Tambela. Ms. Pearlstine placed each note in Rose of Cimarron Perfume with perfection. It carefully represents the delicate, yet complicated life of Rose Dunn.

Rose Dunn was highly respected among outlaws in "Bittercreek" George's gang due to her kind and gentle spirit, yet the idea of her falling in love and running around with a gang of bandits was beyond reasoning. So, Ms. Pearlstine simplified this conquest by adding the softness and sweetness of jasmine grandifolum to represent Rose Dunn's compassion and then the rich and warmer tone of labdanum as a base to hold "Bittercreek" George's love forever in her heart. Rose of Cimarron Perfume is a poetic story told beautifully with ingredients that are forbidden with the eye but not with the heart.
I think Rose Dunn would have agreed with this, too.
